A: Over and above this automatic cover, you can apply for additional cover - up to $3 million for Death only and $2 million for Death & Total Permanent Disability.
Q: What about income protection insurance?
A: As a legalsuper member, you can also access income protection cover, protecting you in the event you are unable to work, with the payment of up to 85% of your salary, all the way to age 65 if you choose. Click here to access the application form.
Q: How can I arrange cover for a spouse?
A: Your spouse will need to join legalsuper first as an employer sponsored member. They will then receive automatic insurance cover based on their age next birthday.
Q: Can I opt out of the insurance?
A: Yes, you can opt out of the insurance at any time by notifying legalsuper in writing.
